A download usually appears on the statistics page of your podcast within fifteen minutes. We read the listening data every ten minutes and process it straight away. So the numbers are not live, but they are at most about fifteen minutes behind.
The counters elsewhere can lag a little longer. The number of downloads next to each episode in your episode list is updated every ten minutes. The numbers on your overview, the last 30 days and this year, refresh every five minutes. Every night we recount everything from scratch, so all numbers are correct by the end of the day.
Did you just listen yourself and see nothing? This is usually why:
You listened for less than a minute. A download only counts after at least one minute of audio has been fetched.
You had already listened today. The same listener counts once per episode per 24 hours, even if you restart the episode or continue listening later.
You listened on Spotify. Spotify serves the audio itself, so those listens do not reach your statistics. You will find them in your Spotify account.
