Moving / redirecting: how do I move my podcast from PodcastFeed to another host?

Updated on

We are sorry to see you go 🙂. But we will not keep you here either. We have made moving your podcast as easy as possible.

How do you make sure your podcast moves seamlessly?

  1. Upload all your audio files to your new host, including the ones from your older episodes.

(at some hosts you can download these automatically by entering your RSS feed from PodcastFeed.nl ).

  2. Log in at PodcastFeed

  3. Go to your channels: https://www.podcastfeed.app/channel

  4. Then click the "distributing" link of the channel you want to move.

  5. Then click RSS feed

  6. Then move the switch next to "Redirect (301) RSS feed" to the right

  7. Then enter the address of your new RSS feed (you get this from your new host)

  8. Click the "save" button

From now on we will redirect your feed automatically to the URL of your RSS feed at your new host.

That gives you a seamless move, without problems for the old and new episodes of your podcast.

We do advise you to change the RSS URL at services such as Spotify, Apple and Google from PodcastFeed to the address of your new host as well.
