When I submit my podcast to Spotify I get the error: Your podcast RSS feed is missing some things: Email address

When you submit a podcast to Spotify, Spotify wants to be sure that the person submitting it is really the owner of the podcast. They do this by sending a confirmation link to the email address in the RSS feed.

If you have not entered an email address in your RSS feed, you get the error:

Your podcast RSS feed is missing some things: Email address

Solution:

  1. Go to: https://www.podcastfeed.app/channel
  2. Click "Edit podcast"
  3. Enter your email address at: Author Email

Please note: it is important that you have access to the email address you enter. Spotify sends a confirmation link to that address.
